I just received this item. Well built. It really is easy to use (as the magnesium is very soft and comes off like butter). The striker and ferro rod work well. All around well worth the price). Its large so it is easy to use and hold. I would recommend this product.

This fire starter is the best I have ever owned, Period. It’s well made and feels and looks like quality especially for the price, and most importantly it starts fires with ease. I haven’t tried to start a fire with damp kindling yet but I’m sure with a soft magnesium rod, that will be no problem at all.
